It's time to meet the Soares Family Pirates!

Okay, okay... so I am a TAD BIT late posting Halloween pictures....

But they are CUTE!

And let's face it, EVERYONE else posted a few weeks ago, so you were probably on Halloween burn out, but now? It's cute again :)

Well... I can tell myself that right?

Anyhoo....

 I am actually very pleased with these costumes this year. I only spent $5.00 TOTAL for the three costumes! Everything else we had on hand and I could throw it together to come up with these cute looks!

We had fun dressing up as a Pirate Family and spending some fun time together on Halloween.

First we headed over to the Pumpkin Patch to hang out and get some cool pumpkins...

Look! They are actually BOTH smiling in the same picture!! HOW did that happen? I know, a fluke hu?

Then we headed over to a local church that throws an AMAZING Harvest Festival for the community on Halloween. We had a blast, as usual.

There was trunk or treating...

with GREAT decorations!

And fun games, and yummy cotton candy and even pony rides...

I would love to post the rest of the pictures...

But I guess I post too many pictures because Blogger just told me I ran out of free storage space!

That bites.... but I guess some are better than none :)

And I will have to figure out how to create more free space in the morning, because I don't do well at problem solving at 3 am :)

Redefining Spina Bifida!

We just got our "Redefining Spina Bifida" shirts the other day!!

We were so excited to get them!!

Nat & Audrey wore theirs to school today, so Bri and I decided to throw ours on and take some pictures...

Let's just say everyone was a bit silly, but hey that's life!

So here is the most amazing boy who just so happened to bring Spina Bifida to our lives...

And his FABULOUS "Big Sister"....

His adorable little sister...

And together we make up the FAMILY...

 that comes together to fight the fights, to live the life and to LOVE through it all!

So we didn't do such a great job of showing off our FABULOUS new shirts,

but we DID act VERY SILLY,

LAUGH A LOT

and HAVE FUN!

I just so happen to have an opening on our team....

We have HEALED FEET!!!!!

We have NEW Braces (again.... 3rd pair in 3 months!) that are WORKING RIGHT!!!

(yes, we are NOT happy the camera is out!)

And we are MOVING and GROOVING again ON OUR FEET!!!

The Fruit of the Spirit!

^{Note: In our house we use the fruits of the Spirit to describe how we want to behave at all times. If someone is doing something not so nice we ask if they have the fruit. Last night Nat had a ROUGH night and was driving us all over the edge. Audrey decided to sing this over and over and over and over again.... for like an hour! There was no stopping this girl.... and FINALLY her brother looked at her and said "If I stop being a butt head will you shut up?" Audrey simply shook her head yes while continuing to sing. Then Nathaniel said "FINE! I am done... please stop singing now." And  there were no more tantrums in our house for the rest of the night.}

It has been a while since I have carved out the time to blog...

It has been CRAZY busy with  getting the store closed and things wrapped up there.

I feel like a tornado has hit my brain!

There is so much I want to do, but I seem to walking around in a fog of "what the heck??"

I will catch you all up on the happening around here, and even find the Halloween pictures!, but first I wanted to show you what I made last night....

I am REALLY excited about this CUTE project...

Not only is it super cute BUT I get to use it to teach my kids about being thankful and blessings in their lives this month. My kids are good with this, but who can't use a little more focus on the good things we have in life? I am so excited about this!

And just in case you thought I came up with all of this brilliance on my own...

I did NOT!!!

I stole it fair and squares from THIS darling blog friend of mine. 

Her's is so cute too, hu?

When I saw it and I knew she was making kits to share with her crafting friends I emailed her right away to see if she had any kits left that I could buy off of her...

And God saved one special for me :)

I have all the beauty without the trigger finger!

Now I just have to wait for all the glue to dry so I can hang it....
