I have been SO FREAKIN' tired and just a wee bit depressed (ok, a LOT depressed, but you didn't want to know that right?) that I have not created time to blog about something really fun that happened Sunday... so here goes. A few days late, but NOT any less cool!!
Sunday was Pee Wee Showmanship at the California Mid State Fair... and Audrey wanted to enter. So I signed her up, not quiet sure what to expect. You see she has been spending A LOT of time at the MBHS FFA compound with Bri this summer, but I haven't seen her around the pigs recently. She used to proclaim to love them, but run and cry if they came near her.... so I was a bit hesitant to sign her up. Well she proved Mommy silly!
Isn't this just the cutest shot of her and the pig, Maddox, that she was showing?? Love that little Wrangler butt and the show brush :) And, yes, a mommy CAN say that!
She really surprised me with how cool and collected she was out there. Not many smiles, but no fear either. Just getting it done. It was so cute to watch!
This was the closest thing to a smile I think I saw... just her little, "yep that's right" smirk.

oh well, who cares?
IT'S MY BLOG!! :)
But then guess what??? The judge started placing them...
There were 23 little 5 & 6 year olds in the ring,
and it was Audrey's first time in the ring, so I though she did great just getting it done!

That is AWESOME!!!! I showed horses as a child so I know how exciting and challenging it can be. Congrats on a great job, that is a huge accomplishment :)
This is soooo darn cute!
